Most eCigs consist of:
1 - A mouthpiece which you can use to pretend you're playing the recorder
2 - A tank containing eLiquid and an atomiser that vaporises the eLiquid into the aerosol mist
3 - A rechargeable battery
Our eCigs generally come in two parts - the atomiser and the battery. Both parts are disposable. The atomiser is where you put the eLiquid, and when you press the button the eLiquid is vaporised and you inhale the vapour. Generally speaking the coils in the atomisers will last a month or so depending on usage (a pack of five of our coils costs just £7.99) before needing to be replaced. The battery is rechargeable and has a life of around 300-400 charges before it will need to be replaced. We supply both replacement coils and batteries in the Accessories section of our website.
eLiquid is an oil like substance that contains just a few ingredients (propylene glycol, vegetable glycerine, nicotine & flavourings) as opposed to traditional cigarettes which contain over 3,500 chemicals, many of them known to cause cancer.
eLiquids come in many different flavours and nicotine strengths, and we have an ever expanding range of both.
In addition to the greatly reduced chemical levels, the additional benefits of smoking electronic cigarettes are:
1 - In many countries you can smoke them in establishments where regular cigarettes are prohibited
2 - They are vastly cheaper compared to traditional cigarettes with annual savings averaging £2,190 for a dirty filthy smoker (just kidding!) smoking 20 a day.
3 - An expert review of the latest evidence concludes that eCigs are around 95% safer than smoking tobacco.
Some people use eCigs as a smoking cessation aid and by gradually reducing the nicotine strength give up smoking altogether. Others just prefer to save money and smoke something with greatly reduced chemical levels and a wider variety of awesome flavours.
There are hundreds of models of eCigarettes available on the market from cheap disposables and ridiculously priced high-end models to high quality low running cost systems like ours.
Filling (or refilling) our eCigs is a very straightforward process.
1 - Unscrew the tank by gripping it just above the silver collar. If the atomiser part (the silver collar) unscrews too, just unscrew that from the tank to gain access.
2 - Remove the safety cap from the eLiquid by pushing the cap down and turning anti-clockwise. Carefully drop some eLiquid around the edge of the tank as shown below (avoiding the tube in the middle) but always leave at least a third of the tank empty.
3 - Screw everything back together and enjoy! Always be careful not to over-tighten anything - you're gonna need to get back in there remember...
Easy peasy - just unscrew the battery and screw it into the supplied USB charger. Simples!
When plugging the battery in to charge the button will flash a few times and the indicator light will turn red. When charging is complete the light will turn green.
Be careful not to over-tighten anything when reassembling your awesome eCig, as you'll need to unscrew it again at some point remember!
